The days are hot now- something I don't like at all.
So I am going for early-morning-walks with Yotam to avoid the heat.
I enjoy those walks and mostly Yotam too.
What a lot of new impressions there are for a small human being...
The chatter of the green parrots
The sweet smell of frangipani and jasmine
A still somewhat cool breeze
rustling of leaves
The change of light and shadow
The earthy smell of warm pine needles
The sound of a scooter
Have a nice weekend! (Ours is starting today)
I managed to do some sewing...
Temperatures are high and suddenly I noticed that although I have tons of baby clothes (mostly I got them handed down), I don't really have short or thin pants for Yotam.
I made a diaper cover from an old shirt- you can find the the tutorial on Danas blog "made"- It was very easy and fast done. Perfect as a small project during napping time...

That's it- our little baby boy was born on Friday and since Sunday we are back home trying to find a new rhythm and getting to know each other better.
Yotam is a sweet little boy who looks much like his sisters. Neomi and Helen adore him (still).
Giving birth for a third time started okay and ended with two terrible hours trying to push this little boy out... but so fast you forget the pain and there's only joy left to see this little baby!
The hospital where I gave birth is not the most modern place (I am not talking about the technical/ medical things). Rooms are small and there's not much space to move...
But the staff is just great! They are so friendly, warm and helpful. And it's somehow nice to see how all those different backgrounds melt together- Arabs and Russians, Jews and Christians and Muslims and Ethiopians...
When we will be back on track I will start to blog more frequently again.

Still waiting for the baby...
The weekend is over and the kids back in kindergarten and day-care. Gives me some breathing space- especially since my husband is still injured and at home- and he will be home for at least another 6 weeks with a partial achilles tendon rupture... not much of a help. I just hope he will be able to accompany me to the hospital. At least we have a "doula" again- so she will be with me all the time during giving birth.
Some days ago we did some bowing with the girls. All you need is some plastic bottles filled with a bit of water and a ball...
... and since it is my sisters birthday today- I can now also show you the fabric bags a sew for her as a present. She asked me to make them for her. They have a lot of slippers ready for guests (as house shoes) and she needs a place to store them...
