sukkot decoration

With a bit of a delay here the pictures of the decoration for our "sukka". Sukkot is over- we had some nice days off from work- to enjoy with family and friends.

We built a sukka under our pergola. Well- it would not stand up to all the rules, but this is not so important to us. One side we covered with palm leafs, one side with a sheet and one side with stripes of fabric.I made with the girl this easy and fun decoration from egg-cartons. Cut them, paint them and string them. For space between the "flowers" we cut drinking straws in pieces and strung them too.
