rosh hashana

The jewish New Year (Rosh Hashana) just started. We started the year traditionally with lots of apples dipped in honey- this should provide a sweet new year. There are other symbols for the new year- one is the pomengranade. They are hanging red and ripe on the trees now. A lovely fruit- by look and taste.
I made with the girls simple cards. We stamped with potatoes and the back of pencils. I found the idea here and it was easy and fun for both Neomi and Helen.

I wish you all a happy new year. May it be a peaceful one for everyone!

Vielen Dank, liebe Rahel!
Das wünsche ich Euch auch!
Die bestempelten Karten sind sehr hübsch.
Ganz liebe Grüße nach Israel

Hi Nancy- luckily we will celebrate Christmas in Switzerland with my family this year. So much more fun than here in Israel!
